In 2015, I heard about the company Beautycounter from a coworker who was going through chemo for breast cancer. Her goal was to eat clean and use only beauty products that were safe for her body. After attending a party she hosted, using the products, hosting my own social and taking advantage of the amazing hostess benefits, I pulled the trigger to become a consultant.
Beautycounter is a movement. We are educating women and families about safer personal care products that are not only chemical free, but effective. The products speak for themselves, which is why so many people are making the switch. From anti-aging lines to a variety of blushes, everything is designed to perform and protect.
I’m a consultant because I believe in the products and the vision. I don’t think we should have to look at ingredients to ensure we aren’t spreading toxic chemicals all over our skin. I don’t think we should have to worry what we are putting in our children’s hair and what long-term impacts our sunscreen has on our health.
Since I began in 2015, I’ve moved to Senior Manager, which has allowed me to use Beautycounter revenue to for vacations, the Madewell purchase, and to pay off a little more of my student debt. I work when it’s convenient for me and I get to be around inspiring women who care about their health. It’s an incredible opportunity.
