1. The Brooklyn Brew Shop sells beer kits for only $35, so I decided to purchase one and try it out over Labor Day weekend with my trusted friend & his personal brewer, Daffodil. It is fermenting for the next two weeks until we can bottle them up.
2. I’ve been thinking about a Chemex for a long, long time. I’ve held off because getting all the equipment is kind of costly. But I spent the Labor Day weekend teaching a handful of yoga classes & felt like it was well-earned (don’t you love rationalizing purchases to yourself?).
3. This came at the right time for me.

4. My friend posted a BuzzFeed with tons of crockpot dump dinners you prep ahead of time, freeze and then thaw when you’re ready for the crockpot to do its magic. I’m pretty lazy about making food, so I’m trying to do more of these so I can embrace this about myself. I followed these three recipes (that really did only take 50 minutes) and am pretty excited about it.
